Inaugural Bel isi PNG Annual General Meeting

Pictured above are some of the representatives from subscribing companies with the Bel isi PNG Board Chair, Rupert Bray.

The inaugural Bel isi PNG Annual General Meeting (AGM) was conducted in May this year. This is the first time an AGM has been held for the organisation since its transition to a standalone entity.

Joining the AGM were Board members and representatives from subscribing companies. These included representation from 13 of the 19 subscribing companies. The AGM was conducted in person at the Steamships @345 building, with two of the Board members and three company reps dialing in via Teams.

Discussion at the AGM included amendments to the Constitution to waive membership fees for implementing partners that do not currently pay any subscription fee. This was agreed to by those present and will allow for clarity on the status of nonpayment founding Board members.
